Paul Laberge - Animateur senior
Nous avons récemment accueilli Paul Laberge au sein de l’équipe permanente de M24. Ses connaissances approfondies en animation traditionelle lui ont mérité le titre d’animateur senior. “Paul vie, mange et respire de l’animation, c’était important pour nous de l’avoir à bord pour conserver l’approche organique que nous primons” dit Olivier Laberge, directeur de création chez Mandarine 24.
“Je suis très excité de m’installer chez M24, mon rôle sera de continuer à développer les possibilités qu’amènent l’animation traditionelle aux nouveaux médias” rajoute Paul Laberge.
Paul a participé à la plupart des projets d’envergure de Mandarine 24. On peut nommer des projets tel que Montréal -40, Pâte Filo et la publicité du Festival du Nouveau Cinéma.
Paul a récemment terminé le vidéo clip “Chewing gum fraise” du groupe électro-pop Numéro. Entièrement réalisé en animation, le clip reflète très bien le style et les inspirations de l’animateur. Le clip fut consacré LA BOMBE par Musique Plus.
Nous avons récemment reçu une mention sur les prestigieux sites motionographer.com ainsi que xplsv.tv.
Du même coup, l'équipe de motionographer.com nous a fait un grand honneur en nous ajoutant sur la liste "Cream O' The Crop" qui regroupe quelques un des meilleurs studios internationaux de ”motion design” et d’animation. On ne pouvait pas demander mieux que de se retrouver immédiatement sous MK12!
Pour sa part, xplsv.tv a présenté notre démo comme vidéo de la journée le 17 avril dernier.

Paul Laberge - Lead animator
Paul Laberge recently became a permanent member of the Mandarine 24 team. He has been a long-time contributor of Mandarine 24 and his extensive background in traditional animation has landed him the lead-animator position within our core team. “Paul lives and breathes animation, it’s important to have him on board to preserve an organic feel to our work” says Olivier Laberge, creative director for M24.
“I’m very happy and excited to join M24, my role will be to expand the possibilities that traditional animation can bring to new media” adds Paul Laberge.
Paul has contributed to such projects as Montreal -40, Pâte Filo, the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma ad and pretty much all animated projects done by our studio in the last year.
Paul has recently finished the music video Chewing Gum Fraise for the Montreal electro-pop band Numéro. Entirely animated, the video reflects very well Paul’s style and inspirations. It was recently given the title DA BOMB by Musique Plus.

In other news Mandarine 24 was recently featured on the prestigious and highly regarded websites motionographer.com and xplsv.tv. This is a great honor for us as motionographer.com also added us to their Cream O' The Crop list.
xplsv.tv featured our reel as the video of the day on April 17th, to the dismay of AX2 who hosts our site.
